The dates in the CBT schedule have passed. An answer key, response sheet, application-status message or exam-city slip should not be treated as the result. A recruitment result must be identified by its official notice and the stage it covers.

How to Check the RRB Section Controller Result

  1. Visit the official website of the RRB selected in your application.
  2. Open the recruitment/result section and locate CEN 03/2026 — Section Controller.
  3. Read the result notice title, publication date and selection stage before downloading any PDF.
  4. Search the PDF for the roll number or other identifier specified in the notice. Match every digit with your admit card or application records.
  5. If a separate scorecard link is provided, open it through the official notice and enter the credentials requested by that portal.
  6. Save your result notice and scorecard, then note the CBAT schedule, certificate requirements and reporting instructions.

Searchable PDFs are easiest to check using the document search function. If a PDF is scanned, inspect the relevant pages carefully. A PDF shortlist and a personal scorecard serve different purposes: the shortlist records progression, while a scorecard provides individual marks or qualifying details as released by RRB.

What Happens After the CBT Result?

The notification provides for CBAT shortlisting based on CBT merit, ordinarily at eight times the vacancies, community-wise. Meeting the minimum CBT percentage alone does not guarantee a place in that shortlist. The applicable official result and cut-off determine progression.

The minimum CBT percentages are UR/EWS 40%, OBC-NCL/SC 30% and ST 25%, subject to the specific conditional provisions in the CEN. For a multi-shift CBT, the notification provides for normalisation. Use RRB's declared score and category-specific instructions when reading the result.

CBAT Qualification and Final Merit

Candidates must obtain a minimum T-score of 42 in each CBAT test battery, without category relaxation. CBAT has no negative marking. Passing one battery or achieving an aggregate score does not compensate for failing the minimum in another battery.

Follow the CEN requirement to produce the prescribed original vision certificate for CBAT: Annexure VI, or Annexure VI-A where applicable to Ex-Servicemen. Read the later call letter and official notice for the complete reporting requirements. Being shortlisted does not waive medical or eligibility conditions.

Among candidates who qualify CBAT, the merit calculation gives 70% weightage to CBT and 30% to CBAT. Equal combined marks are resolved according to the CEN's tie rules: the older candidate ranks higher, followed by alphabetical order of name if the age is also the same.

Document Verification and Medical Examination

Candidates called for document verification must produce the originals and other documents required by the official notice. Prepare your application records, proof of date of birth, graduation qualification, identity documents and applicable category or concession certificates. Follow the exact prescribed format and validity requirements; this preparation list does not replace the DV call letter.

The post carries the notified A-2 medical standard. Appointment remains subject to medical fitness, verification of educational and other eligibility claims, and completion of the recruitment formalities. A CBT shortlist, CBAT qualification or provisional panel should not be presented as an unconditional appointment letter.

If You Cannot Find Your Result

  • Check the correct RRB, CEN, post and stage before searching again.
  • Use the identifier requested in the official notice rather than assuming registration and roll numbers are interchangeable.
  • Read any corrigendum or supplementary result released by the same RRB.
  • For a genuine discrepancy, use the official contact/helpdesk listed in the relevant notice and keep your application details ready.
