Written Result Versus Final Selection
- The list identifies candidates eligible for the SSB stage. It does not mean that all listed candidates have been finally selected for an academy. Further selection requirements and verification remain applicable.
- The official announcement notes that some candidates appear in more than one course list. When checking an entry, read the course heading as well as the roll number; do not add the lengths of separate course lists to estimate a new total.
How to Check Your Roll Number
- Download the complete UPSC result PDF using the first link above. Search for the roll number exactly as it appears on your admit card, and note the academy or course list in which it appears.
- Save a copy of the relevant result page and the opening instructions. If your number is not found, recheck the examination session and any leading digits before contacting the authority through its official channels.
Certificate Deadlines in the Official Notice
- The notice requires original certificates to reach the appropriate service authority by 1 July 2027 for IMA and INA, 13 May 2027 for AFA, and 1 October 2027 for SSC courses. Read the official PDF for the precise address and documents applicable to your course.
- UPSC explicitly says that candidates must not send original certificates to the Commission. Follow the service-specific instructions rather than using the address of the examination body by assumption.
What to Prepare for the Next Stage
- Keep your application record and the documents supporting date of birth, educational qualifications and any claim made in the application in order. Check the notice and the relevant service recruitment portal for further SSB instructions.
- Do not confuse the result publication date with an interview appointment. The written-result PDF and a later call letter serve different purposes. Follow the reporting details in the official communication issued to you.
