The Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) is a Central Sector Scheme launched on 24 February 2019 (with effect from 1 December 2018). It provides income support to all landholding farmer families to supplement their financial needs for agricultural inputs and household expenses.
