The Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana (PMMSY) was launched in 2020 to bring about a Blue Revolution through sustainable and responsible development of the fisheries sector in India. It seeks to enhance fish production, modernise the value chain and improve the welfare of fishers and fish farmers.
