GOBARdhan (Galvanizing Organic Bio-Agro Resources Dhan) was launched in 2018 to support villages in safely managing cattle and organic waste by converting it into biogas, compressed bio-gas (CBG) and organic bio-fertiliser. It promotes a circular "waste-to-wealth" economy, improves rural sanitation under the Swachh Bharat Mission (Gramin), and provides an additional income source for farmers.
