The PM Vishwakarma scheme was launched on 17 September 2023 (Vishwakarma Jayanti). It provides end-to-end support to traditional artisans and craftspeople who work with their hands and tools, helping them improve the quality and reach of their products and integrate into domestic and global value chains.
