Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan is an integrated centrally sponsored scheme for school education launched in 2018 by the Ministry of Education. It subsumes the three earlier schemes — Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA), Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan (RMSA) and Teacher Education (TE) — into a single programme covering the entire school education spectrum from pre-school to class 12.
