Bihar STET Eligibility Criteria

Paper 1 (Classes 9 to 10 - Secondary)

  • Master's Degree / Graduation in the relevant subject with at least 50% marks, AND
  • B.Ed or equivalent teaching qualification as per NCTE norms.

Paper 2 (Classes 11 to 12 - Senior Secondary)

  • Master's Degree in the relevant subject with at least 50% marks, AND
  • B.Ed or equivalent teaching qualification as per NCTE norms.

Relaxation in minimum marks is provided to reserved category candidates as per Bihar government rules.

Bihar STET Exam Pattern

Each STET paper has 150 multiple-choice questions for 150 marks with a duration of 2 hours 30 minutes. There is no negative marking, and each correct answer carries 1 mark.
