Withheld and Provisional Cases

  • The result of 136 candidates has been withheld on the recommendation of BSF.
  • The notice separately addresses four temporarily unfit female candidates.
  • It also permits 97 candidates involved in court cases to appear provisionally in Paper-II, subject to the conditions stated by SSC.

Provisional permission is conditional. It does not establish final selection, appointment or an unconditional entitlement to continue at every subsequent stage.
