- The Reserve Bank of India has issued an annual recruitment calendar for Class I posts, Panel Year 2027, marked “As on 22.10.2026”. It lists notification and examination months for Grade B, Grade A and other cadres. Candidates should use the calendar for planning: a month-wise timetable is not a detailed recruitment advertisement or a day-wise examination schedule.

RBI Grade B 2027: Notification and Exam Months
- For Officers in Grade B (DR)—General, DEPR and DSIM, the calendar places the notification in February 2027, Phase I in April 2027 and Phase II in May/June 2027.
- Keep both examination phases in your preparation plan. The calendar does not provide individual reporting times, examination centres or a specific day of the month. Those details must come from the relevant recruitment notice and candidate communication.
RBI Grade A 2027: Calendar Entry
- For Officers in Grade A (DR)—General, the notification month shown is July 2027 and the single-phase examination month is September 2027.
- Do not transfer Grade B eligibility or selection rules to Grade A simply because both appear in the same calendar. Read the separate detailed advertisement for the post you intend to apply for.
Other Class I Cadres
- The calendar also lists Manager (Technical—Civil), Manager (Technical—Electrical), Legal Officer in Grade B and Assistant Manager (Protocol & Security). For these visible entries, February 2027 is the notification month and March/April 2027 is the single-phase examination period.
- Consult the complete PDF for the remaining entries and any explanatory note. A combined calendar helps compare broad timelines, but each cadre can have different qualifications and application requirements.
What the Calendar Does Not Confirm
- A calendar entry is not an application form. It does not, by itself, establish vacancies, age limits, qualification cut-off dates, fees, category-wise reservation or an active registration link. Check those details in the subsequent advertisement.
- Likewise, the calendar is not an admit card. Avoid treating an approximate month as a final exam date or making non-refundable travel arrangements on that basis. Check amendments on the official recruitment website.
How to Plan Your Preparation
- Choose your target cadre first. Organise a study plan around the relevant indicative months, keeping time for revision and timed practice. Use the syllabus in the applicable notification when it is issued.
- Keep educational and identity records ready, but submit information only through the official application route once it opens. Review your form against the exact post and recruitment year and retain the submitted copy for later stages.
