Selection Process
Paper-I → PST/PET → Paper-II → medical examination and document verification → final merit and force preference.
Before the next stage
- Check the correct qualification and age rule for SI (Fire) instead of applying the general graduate rule to every post.
- Keep NCC certificates ready if claimed; the benefit is subject to verification.
- Read the force-specific physical standards and licence requirement before exercising preferences.
- Track SSC's examination-city and admit-card notices; do not infer individual dates from the overall window.
Application and Document Checklist
Applications are submitted through the SSC portal using One-Time Registration. For a future open window, select the correct examination, check personal and qualification details, complete the prescribed photograph/signature process, pay the applicable fee and save the submitted form. The dates above describe this cycle; a closed window must not be treated as an invitation to apply now.
Keep original education and age certificates, applicable category/relaxation certificates, identity proof and the application record ready. Eligibility remains subject to document verification. A result or admission certificate alone does not waive a post-specific qualification.
