Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Candidates must have passed Matriculation (10th) plus a minimum one-year duration Act Apprenticeship / ITI course approved by NCVT / SCVT with not less than 60% aggregate marks in ITI.
Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 33 years
Age relaxation is applicable to reserved categories (SC/ST, OBC-NCL, PwBD, Ex-Servicemen) as per DFCCIL/Government norms.

Pay Scale & Salary
The DFCCIL MTS salary is based on the IDA pay scale. The selected Multi-Tasking Staff candidates will draw a salary in the range of ₹16,000 – ₹45,000 (pre-revised scale of Rs. 6,000 – Rs. 12,000 for certain roles), applicable to posts such as Civil (Trackman), Electrical (Helper), S&T (Helper) and Operating (Pointsman/Gateman). In addition, employees receive Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA) and other benefits as per DFCCIL rules.
