HP TET Eligibility Criteria

JBT TET (Primary Teacher)

  • Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and 2-year JBT / D.El.Ed, OR
  • Senior Secondary with 50% marks and 4-year B.El.Ed as per NCTE norms.

TGT & Shastri TET

  • Graduation in the relevant subject with at least 50% marks and B.Ed, OR
  • For Shastri - Shastri / equivalent qualification with B.Ed as per norms.

Reserved category candidates get relaxation in minimum marks as per Himachal Pradesh government rules.

HP TET Exam Pattern

The HP TET has 150 multiple-choice questions for 150 marks with a duration of 2 hours 30 minutes (150 minutes). There is no negative marking, so candidates should attempt all questions.
