MAHA TET Eligibility Criteria

Paper 1 (Classes 1 to 5)

  • Senior Secondary (HSC) with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed), OR
  • HSC with at least 50% marks and 4-year B.El.Ed, OR
  • Equivalent qualification as per NCTE norms.

Paper 2 (Classes 6 to 8)

  • Graduation and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed), OR
  • Graduation with at least 50% marks and B.Ed, OR
  • Equivalent qualification as per NCTE guidelines.

Relaxation in minimum marks is provided to reserved category candidates as per Maharashtra government rules.

MAHA TET Exam Pattern

Each MAHA TET paper has 150 multiple-choice questions for 150 marks with a duration of 2 hours 30 minutes. There is no negative marking, so candidates should attempt all questions.
