RPSC RAS 2026 — Selection Process
Objective screening exam. Marks not counted in final merit. Used only to shortlist candidates for Mains. Scheduled: 29 November 2026.
Conventional written examination. Carries significant weightage in the final merit list. 4 Papers × 200 Marks = 800 Marks total.
Personality test for Mains qualifiers. Assesses personality, general awareness, and administrative aptitude.
Conducted for specific posts requiring computer or typing proficiency. Post-specific and qualifying in nature.
Original documents verified and medical fitness assessed for finally selected candidates.

The Preliminary examination is an OMR-based offline test — a qualifying round used only for shortlisting candidates for Mains. Pre marks are not added to the final merit list.
